Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a world leader in the manufacturer of specialist manufacturing machinery and associated services. The group is well established and has grown based on its technological development and expertise, leading to aworldwide reputation for high quality products and services based on leading edge technology.As part of the business’s continued growth, we are delighted to be working in partnership with them to recruit a Production Assembly Engineer to join their existing production team.Production Assembly EngineerWorking Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per weekSalary: £30,000 Depending on skills and experienceThe Role:

  • Assembly, inspection and testing of components, ranging from gear pumps and fluid applicators through to complete systems incorporating mechanical, electrical and pneumatic mechanisms
  • Carrying out cable preparation (crimping and soldering) and testing
  • Handling and assembling precision components
  • Working from engineering drawings, but must have the ability to trouble shoot and raise any issues if they arise
  • Assembly of precision and high-value mechanical assemblies
  • General housekeeping and workshop duties, ensuring the workplace is clean, tidy and safe at all times
  • Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
Skills & Experience:
  • Basic electrical skills are essential for the role
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Previous experience of assembling precision mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Must be dexterous due to assembly of small, intricate components
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
  • Must be a team player, you will be joining a small friendly team
  • Must be open to occasional travel – worldwide
