Job Description

Drama TeacherLocation: RotherhamSalary Scale: £140 to £250 per dayStatus: Full Time and possibility for a permanent roleStart: Sep - JanAs a Drama Teacher, youll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and ignite a passion for performance in our students. GSL Education is in search of a Geography Teacher to fill a post at one of our client schools in Rotherham.Role of a Drama Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities and learning styles
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to express themselves
  • Develop and nurture students confidence, communication skills, and teamwork through practical drama activities and performances
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular drama clubs, productions, and events
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development
The successful candidate will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
  • Demonstrated experience teaching drama at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum
  • Passion for drama education and a commitment to inspiring young people
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with colleagues to create a dynamic learning environment
