Job Description

Were working with a leading facilities management company to find a proactive Management Accountant for their Wath Upon Dearne location. In this role, youll be a key player in financial operations, providing crucial support in month-end processes and ensuringcompliance with accounting standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent Excel skills, we invite you to apply!Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the preparation of month-end management accounts and reports for the group, focusing on bad debt reporting and adherence to company policies.
  • Assist the AR Manager in short-term cash reporting and modelling, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct Balance Sheet reconciliations, analysing trends in comparison to short-term cash reporting.
  • Manage VAT returns and ensure tax compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to month-end reporting activities, providing analysis for management information, KPIs, board packs, and the budgeting process.
  • Support the financial accounting team by addressing audit queries and fulfilling group requests.
  • Collaborate with divisional finance teams to streamline financial processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Experience:
  • Proven ability to work effectively within tight deadlines in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel, including advanced data analysis and modelling skills.
