Management Accountant | Full time and Permanent | Rotherham | Salary up to £43,000 + 10% bonusAshley Kate are thrilled to be supporting our client in the FMCG industry who are searching for a Management Accountant to join the team at their Rotherham site. As the Management Accountant (Site Accountant), your core role will be to provide timely and accurateinformation of site performance and costs to assist the Site Finance Controller and the Site Leadership team in decision making and analysis. There is an expectation for you to travel and support another site in West Yorkshire 1-2 days a week.Some of your key responsibilities will include: ·Weekly/monthly site performance analysis ·Complete and review site KPIs ·Complete accurate and timely product costings, understanding the drivers for change ·Understand and investigate production variances ·Provide constructive challenge to Manufacturing and Supply Chain and drive improvements ·Attend and contribute towards Material Change Meetings & Factory Development Meetings ·Attend and contribute to Site Accountants forums & Central Finance meetings when required ·Assist in site budget and forecasting ·Overhead Cost centre management ·CAPEX tracking and forecasting ·Identify opportunities to develop and improve financial processes ·Assist in highlighting stock control issues ·Assist with year-end audit ·Maintain fixed asset schedule ·Assist accounts payable team to resolve parked invoice issues ·Complete Balance Sheet Recs ·Update JD Edwards with up to date bill of material information to ensure accurate materials ordering ·Assist in the rolling over of BOMs to the following Financial Year ensuring accuracy versus reported movements year on year ·Cover for the Site Finance Controllers when requiredKey knowledge, skills and experience: ·Management Accountant level experience or similar ·FMCG/ food manufacturing experience is highlydesirable ·CIMA, ACCA, or ACA - Fully or part qualified ·High level of excel and data analytical skills ·Knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) software beneficial (but not essential) ·Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word ·Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a self- starter ·Good eye for details ·Good people engagement & communication skillsIf you meet the requirements for this role, please click below to apply!
