Lift Service Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lift Service Engineer for our client in Rotherham.Lift Service Engineer Benefits:

Contract: Permanent
Salary: 35 - 40k D.O.E
9 hours per day Monday to Friday (including travel)
Company van + fuel card
Open start time between 7.30am - 8.30am
Overtime: week nights 1.3 times, Saturday 1.5 times, Sunday/bank holidays 2 times
On call retainer £35 per day week days, £50 per day weekends/bank holidays
25 days holiday plus stats

Lift Service Engineer Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of 4-5 lift services per day on average Yorkshire/North East Midlands (main focus on South & West Yorkshire).
Respond promptly to service calls and breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and lift performance.
Collaborate with clients to address any lift-related concerns or issues.
Provide technical guidance and advice to hospital personnel on lift usage and safety protocols.

Lift Service Engineer Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 certification in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in servicing and maintaining lifts.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of lift mechanics and safety standards.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to meet service requirements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Flexibility to participate in the call-out rota, with availability for emergency responses on a rotational basis.
