Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be exclusively partnering with a leading Engineering business in Rotherham as the look to recruit and IT Manager (site based role).This is a newly created role meaning the successful IT Manager will have a real opportunity to make an impact from a system and infrastructure perspective on for this growing business.IT Managers Duties & Responsibilities:*Support and implement company IT strategy*Maintain and update company IT networking infrastructure inc. Firewall management, Remote access, General networking, 3rd party integration *Maintain companywide security across all systems, Endpoint protection and Gateway protection*Monitor and manage data and system backups, virtual, physical and offsite *Maintain and upgrade companywide server and client machines*Ensure company maintains compliance with relevant legislation and certification *Microsoft 365 administration and management*3rd Party Relationship management*Ensure all company IT inventory and documentation records are kept up to date*Helpdesk ticketing system management*Assist with project related work where necessaryWe are keen to speak with IT professionals who possess the following skills and experience:*Demonstrable experience of operating in a similar role *Knowledge of Windows networks including monitoring, server admin, routers, switches and VLANs *Experience with Active Directory: DNS, DHCP, GPO *Experience in provisioning and maintaining Windows client and servers *Experience of working with virtualised environments *Knowledge of email systems, preferably Microsoft 365 *Able to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the companys work *Able to work as part of a team, but also be self-motivated when working alone *Willing to take on new challenges and learn new things To find out more about this fantastic opportunity contact us today!
