HGV MECHANIC/FITTER Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £29k - £34k Per annum Full-Time Role & Responsibilities Perform minor and major repairs on lorries and trailers Conduct preventative maintenance on all vehicles in a timely, efficient and cost-effective way Inspections and MOT preparations Maintain parts inventory Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles Attend local breakdowns around the Fradley and surrounding areas Maintain a safe working environment Carry out additional tasks as requested by the Group Fleet Manager Skills Full driving licence - Class 2 would be an advantage although not essential Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic Qualified HGV mechanic or qualified by experience Good standard of verbal and written communication skills Able to use initiative and work alone Good understanding of the MOT test requirements and legislation IRTEC Qualified preferred but not essential Proven experience in diagnostics software
