Im currently retained to assist a NHS client to recruit a permanent Head of costing.Are you looking for a role that provides you with an opportunity to influence strategic and operational decision making As the Head of Costing you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing and promoting Patient Level Costing (PLICS) and ServiceLine Reporting across the organisation.You will be a qualified accountant and have expert knowledge of managing and maintaining costing systems to facilitate effective delivery of the national costing objectives. Whilst expertise of the costing and feeder technical systems is a pre requisitefor the role, just as important will be your ability to engage and interact with colleagues at all levels (including clinicians) from corporate, divisional and operational teams.This role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to take ownership of rolling out and embedding Patient Level Costing within the organisation. Allowing the individual the visibility across the entire hospital and engaging with multiple workstreams to ensure buy in.The ability to work remotely is embraced by the organisation, but with close working relationships with finance and contracting in a well established team with a great work life balance.For further information, please contact me.
