Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be recruiting on an exclusive basis for a highly successful manufacturing and retail business based in Rotherham as they embark on the next phase of their exciting journey. With a current turnover of over £30 Million and further growth planned due to an imminent acquisition, this is fantastic time to join this ambitious and progressive company. They are currently looking to strengthen their team by bringing in a competent Finance Manager who has particular expertise around driving system and reporting improvements across finance and a business as well as providing meaningful insight and analysis behind the numbers to help drive company performance, particularly around the trade side of the business. There is lots of scope in the role to make it your own and there is certainly the opportunity to be more involved in business partnering across the various departments including assisting with budget setting and managing budgets with stakeholders. The current Head of Finance is looking to eventually move into a more strategic and operational role in the future so the successful candidate has a genuine opportunity to carve a good career with this company. In the future, you will be able to take some of these leadership responsibilities in the future and have more of an oversight of the finance department as a whole. This will be a varied role with duties to include:- - Creation and Development of robust and accurate reporting systems/ processes- Interrogation and presentation of financial data in order to aid the strategic direction of the business - Financial modelling on various scenarios - Monitoring KPIs, assessing key drivers for the business - Driving continuous improvement- Working closely with Head of Finance with a view to develop into more of a Financial Controller within the department and leading the team as the business continues to evolve To be successful, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:* CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified * At least 3-4 years PQE (Highly desirable) * Previous experience in a similar reporting/ systems based role * Ability to interrogate financial information * Must be a strong user of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems * Driven to succeed and progress * Analytical mind set * Strong attention to detail This is an excellent opportunity for a newly or recently qualified to progress their career with a forward-thinking organisation.
