Job Description

Title: Finance AssistantLocation:South YorkshirePay: £12 per hour including holiday payDuration: Full-Time, Temporary for at least 4 weeks but could be extended.Reed - Further Education are seeking a Finance Assistant to work in an excellent FE college in South Yorkshire. You would be responsible for processing of finances, requesting PO numbers, making payments and investigating financial discrepancies.What’s the day-to-day responsibilities of a Finance Assistant

  • Processing of invoices
  • Purchase and Sales Ledgers
  • To aware financial support based on eligibility - including free school meals, travel and childcare support
  • To maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions in accordance with government regulations, audit guidance and college policies and procedures.
What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role
  • Experience working in either a finance, purchase ledger or payroll capacity
  • Good telephone manner and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in the office, 5 days a week on a full-time basis.
