The ideal candidate will have experience using creative softwarepackages to develop quality content for the purpose of increasing engagement across marketing channels.You will have the chance to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Degree Digital Marketing Apprenticeship.Games Jobs Direct are offering an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing brand working within the global games industry. The successful candidate will create content and digital campaigns for some of the largest games studios in the world. As we buildour brand, were looking for someone who can create purposeful content that inspires, informs and entertains.Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating custom video content for digital marketing campaigns
  • Creating graphics and visual imagery for a range of digital platforms
  • Working with the marketing team to implement the digital strategy
  • Scheduling content to be published across social media
  • Communicating with clients to establish project details and deliverables
  • Managing assigned projects and planning workloads
  • Blog writing and web copywriting
Desired skills and experience:
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Social media management
  • Knowledge of digital marketing
  • Experience creating visual content for marketing purposes
  • Post-production and editing experience
  • Copywriting experience
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills

Entry Requirements:Standard Entry:
  • To be eligible to study for a degree, typically candidates will have achieved grade C or above in at least five GCSEs, and at least two A-levels passes or any equivalent Level 3 qualifications.
  • Any Level 3 Apprenticeship
Non-standard Entry with work experience:
  • Equivalent work experience (typically 2 years relevant experience at an appropriate level)candidates may have previously been in a digital marketer role or be able to demonstrate a real passion and personal experience in digital marketing.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and/or work experience will be taken into consideration where the applicant has the judged potential to benefit from the programme, allowing for contextualized applications. The nature of an applicants work experienceis as important if not more so than the duration of that experience. The experience could include Digital and Marketing Analysts, Digital Marketing Executives, Digital Marketing Campaign Managers, Social Media Specialists, Content Marketing Executives, DigitalProducers and Pay Per Click Analysts.
Informal InterviewsInformal interviews may be held by academic/ admissions staff where:
  • The suitability of a candidate is in doubt and further evidence is sought.
  • The candidate presents an unusual set of qualifications taken or pending, and an appropriate conditional offer needs to be determined.
  • Candidates may need advice on the appropriateness of the programme.
Applicants invited for an informal interview will always be informed of its purpose.Salary:£18,500 per annum.Working week:40 hours per week.Monday-Friday,9am-5pm.Future prospects:A permanent role within the business will be offered for the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.Important Information: QAs apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
