Job Role: CNC MachinstLocation: Sheffield, S25Shift: Days OnlySalary: £15.00phMetalis are working with a prestigious manufacturing company based in Sheffield, who due to production demands are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their busy shopfloor.Key Objectives of the CNC Role* H&S - Work in a safe and responsible manner* Conduct any pre-shift H&S checks as specified; for example: Hoist Crane* Maintain a high standard of workplace housekeeping (5s Duties)* Ensure ALL Quality procedures and processes are followed* Machine parts to drawing* Use measuring equipment (Micrometers, Vernier, Wall Thickness Meter, Surface Roughness gauge)* Material MovementsEssential* Machining working to tight tolerances* Manual Milling and Turning Experience advantageous* CNC Milling/Turning Experience advantageous* A good understanding of Mitsubishi/Fanuc (IOS G Coding)* Experienced in understanding and using Renishaw dual OMP40 Optical inspection & tool setting probing system* Experience in using CAD CAM software (Fusion 360/SG CAM)* Excellent communication skills* Part programming advantageous* Flexibility* Ability to understand engineering drawings* Windows based computer skills advantageous* Experience with machining Forgings/Castings advantageous* Attention to detail* Counterbalance forklift license advantageousKnowledge* Apprentice trained - Mechanical Manufacturing or equivalent desirable* Minimum 5 years manufacturing experienceShift & Salary* Monday to Friday - Days only* Up to £15ph DOEIf this role could be in interest, please apply now and one of our consultants will be in touch.
