Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be working with an industrial manufacturing company based in Rotherham to recruit a CAD Draughtsperson.Benefits of this role include:

Reporting to the Drawing office Manager, the CAD Draughtsperson will be working on projects of various sizes to produce 2D/3D drawings that accurately reflect the specification and/or brief.Other responsibilities of the CAD Draughtsperson may include:
  • Create drawings and models using relevant 2D / 3D CAD packages (Solid works)
  • Reviewing drawings
  • Undertaking measurements and survey works from existing customer equipment and sites
  • Supporting sales with proposal costs and tender specifications.
  • Ensuring projects deadlines are met
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Continuously improving the process
We would be keen to speak with CAD Draughtspersons who possess the following;
  • Previous experience in heavy steel industry
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, structural analysis, and material selection
