The Deputy Site Services Manager will ensure the safe and efficient day to day running of service delivery areas, daily management of staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, collaboration with military partners, appropriate use of resources and ensuring compliance iaw relevant governance. The Deputy Site Services Manager will assist with the infrastructure works programme, as well as ensuring contractor compliance iaw mandatory and statutory maintenance routines. The nature of the role requires a large amount of reactive response to infrastructure issues on site resulting in significant engagement with civilian, military and Industry Partners. This role will require the successful candidate to demonstrate excellent communications and interpersonal skills. As the Deputy Site Services Manager you will be required to undertake out of hours on-call duties, currently approximately one week in every 5.ResponsibilitiesMain ResponsibilitiesAs Deputy Site Services Manager at MOD Caledonia you will: • Line management of 3 MOD civilian personnel • Task allocation for 7 MOD contractors • The main areas of responsibility are management of five site delivery areas. These are: o White Fleet o Mail Room o Gym / Swimming Pool o Stores • General camp maintenance About our Team:The Deputy Site Services Manager is part of a small team who provide invaluable support to the running of MOD Caledonia for military and civilian users. As part of the estate rationalisation programme MOD Caledonia has been earmarked for closure, but not before July 2022. Further studies have yet to be concluded and until such time specific details will not be available.
