An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to provide support in a Capability Development Centre of Expertise (CoE) for a large defence client. The jobholder is responsible for ensuring that the correct mix of new talent is brought into theorganisation at the Rosyth site to support future growth requirements. The Capability Development Administrator will report into the Early Careers Manager. This role can apply to any training or development activities related to business function or department. The focus of this role is to carry out day to day administrative tasks, escalating any problems that may be encountered. This role will also involve supporting the team with the STEM engagement programme and will be based at Rosyth. Main Purpose of Role Supports the Capability Development CoE with everyday administrative tasks including diary management, meeting facilitation, minute taking, ordering consumables, STEM, acting as the point of contact for any employee queries, stationary, as well as assistingwith specific projects and tasks. The jobholder will actively seek to manage and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders through appropriate management of expectations. You will apply effective and appropriate communication styles and have the ability to use andadapt approaches to various contexts to support team outputs. Operational Management: Deliver administration support activity ensuring resources are identified, utilised and developed to meet the business requirements. Undertakes activities and tasks to support the CoE, including meeting preparation, production of reports,minute taking, recording and monitoring of actions and diary management. Technical Skills: Runs reports upon request of wider CoE. Handles confidential information and data with assistance of peers in line with policy and procedure. Performance Management: Support the wide CoE in developing an effective team to deliver business requirements. Continuous Improvement: Support the promotion and monitoring of the impact of changes and developments in working practices to achieve best practice and to maintain and improve quality standards Financial: Handles STEM expense and billing queries and keeps track of these. Assists with STEM invoices on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. The jobholder will have experience in Administrative Support/working in a business environment along with an SVQ apprenticeship in Business and Administration or equivalent.
