The UK office launched in 2012 and is steadily grown.THE OPPORTUNITY:This is a role is based in our Scotland Office in Rosyth, Fife and is ideal for an experienced accountant looking for a career in a growing business. This position requires excellent technical, interpersonal and team working skills. A focused, diligent,cross the Ts dot the Is person with a work ethic second to none will be key when taking on responsibility for this very important part of our business. You will be required to take on ad hoc reporting requests and assist other team members when they mightneed general support.The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounting function of the UK/EU business, including but not limited to: All creditor and debtor entries and control Bank Account Reconciliations Monthly Payroll and Commission Calculations Monitoring and processing Staff Expenses Intrastat Reporting on a monthly basis and filing these returns VAT reconciliations Monthly reporting to the business owners and Group CFO Ad Hoc monthly reportingReporting to the UK/EU Office Manager and ultimately to the global CFO, general working hours are Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm.REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE: 3 years plus experience in an Accounting role HND or Degree in Accounting Experience within the retail/wholesale sector would be advantageous but not essential Accounts Payable/Receivable experience Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Outstanding analytical and numeracy skills Excellent communication and persuasion skills both face-to-face and via telephone Exceptional eye for detail Excellent time management Skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to work independently and to deadlines Ability to multi-task Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX would be a distinct advantageREMUNERATION:The salary for this position will be around £29,000 gross per annum depending on experience.
