Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse OperativeLocation: HaslingdenSalary: £25,168 per year (£11.00 p/h) to £26,312 per year (£11.50 p/h)Job Type: Permanent, Full TimeFlexipol is BRC certificated and is an approved food packaging supplier to key manufacturers in the UK and internationally, such as those in the Marks and Spencer supply chain.The Company is now in its 28th year, and during this time the business has grown steadily each year, providing long term secure employment. The Company prides itself on its innovative approach to product design and manufacturing, along with an excellentreputation for high-quality customer service.We solve our customers toughest packaging challenges through our unique blend of technical collaboration, innovation and extraordinary service.The Role:To assist in the efficient and effective running of the various Warehouse functions, providing continuity and support across all departments.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Meet production targets and customer deadlines
  • Complete required paperwork
  • Complete daily checks
  • Follow Safe Working Practices
  • Adhere to Health & Safety and environmental procedures and regulations
The Person:
  • Self-motivated, proactive and can work under pressure
  • A can-do attitude, able to overcome obstacles with a team approach
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Good practical skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours on a continental shift pattern working through days, nights, as well as weekend work on certain patterns.
Knowledge, Training and Experience required
  • Experience of working in a busy warehouse across multiple sites
  • Ideally possess a counterbalance licence
  • Health, safety and quality awareness
  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping
Shift Pattern:Continental 4-week pattern, working rotating days and nights (including weekends), hours from 07:00/19:00 to 19:00/07:00, average 38.5 hour week.Benefits:
  • Weekend shift allowance of 1.5 on basic pay for working between Friday 19:00 to Sunday 19:00.
