Job Description

Role: Trainee ParaplannerLocation: RossendaleSalary: £20-30k (depending on experience)Hours: 8.30-5 (Monday to Friday)Our client is a prestigious financial services practice looking for a Paraplanner to join their expanding team in Rossendale. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career within financial services. You will be put throughyour RO exams and givenday each week for study time.This role would be well suited to someone from a banking background or an IFA administrator looking to take the next step in their career.Reporting to the Practice Manager your role will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining client files;
o Completing the CRF fully and correctly on I-Businesso Ensuring all hard facts are providedo Recording details correctly
  • Preparing recommendations;
o Generating and completing Comparison Reports, Illustrations on I-Businesso Understand when Calculators are neededo Ensure you refer to the Advice Process and End to End processes when evaluating the appropriateness of a recommendationso Identify all areas of planningo Understand the risk profile of the client
  • Implementing recommendations ;
o Drafting Suitability Letterso Fully and accurately complete application/proposal formso Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order and completed correctly
  • Review;
o Being the main point of contact you will deal with queries from clients and other partieso Establish and build strong relationships with clientso Review investment portfolios, asset allocation and risk profileso Send planning figures to clients for update and revisionKey Skills and Experience
