Job Description

Job Advert: Qualified Primary School Teacher (September 2023)Veritas Education are currently seeking a qualified Primary School Teacher, to join a village School within the Rossendale Valley. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, as per your experience and preference.The initial appointment is for one term, with the potential for extension and even a permanent position for the ideal candidate. The school is located in the picturesque Rossendale Valley, offering a semi-rural setting.Position Details:

  • Role: Qualified Primary School Teacher
  • Key Stages: Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (flexible based on experience)
  • Start Date: September 2023
  • Initial Appointment: One term, with potential for extension
  • Possibility of Permanent Position: For the ideal candidate
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 students
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote student development
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures students well-being and educational growth
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and development
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (depending on preference)
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting student growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
