Job Description

Job Title: Flexographic Printer, Assistants and TechniciansLocation: HaslingdenSalary: £23,000 to £28,000, based on skills, relevant experience, and shift pattern this includes a Weekend shift allowance of 1.5 on basic pay hours worked Friday night to Sunday day inclusive.Job Type: Permanent, Full TimeFlexipol is BRC certificated and is an approved food packaging supplier to manufacturers in the Marks and Spencer supply chain.The Company is now in its 29th year, and during this time the business has grown each year steadily, providing long term secure employment. The Company prides itself on its innovative approach to product design and manufacturing, along with an excellentreputation for high-quality customer service.We solve our customers toughest packaging challenges through our unique blend of technical collaboration, innovation and extraordinary service.Due to continued expansion, we are inviting applications from enthusiastic and capable individuals to join our print team.The role:To print on one or all of our four presses, ranging from 4 colour stack press to 8 colour CI press. Mount printing plates as required, and ideally the ability to quickly colour match in. To operate equipment as effectively as possible and to contribute tothe shift meeting demands in terms of production, waste, quality, housekeeping and health and safety.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Adhere to Health & Safety and Environmental Procedures and Regulations
  • Meet production targets and customer deadlines
  • Complete daily checks
  • Follow SWPs
  • Completes required production paperwork
The Candidate:

Knowledge, Training and Experience required
  • Ideally with previous print experience of working within the flexible packaging industry
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Quality Awareness
  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping
Benefits:
  • Overtime rates are 1.50 of your basic rates after contracted hours.
  • You will be paid weekly each Friday
  • Rotating 3-week pattern, working rotating days and nights (with no Friday or Saturdays), hours from 07:00/19:00 to 19:00/07:00, average 39.5-hour
