The site is close to public transport routes so is easily accessible. Offering 24/7 specialist residential care. The Care Homeprovidessupport and care for up to 6male residents who have learning disabilities.Previous experienceof working with adults with behaviours that challenge and autism would be a benefit for this position. Team Leader Duties

  • We are looking for aTeam Leader toassist the Manager and Deputy Manager of the Service towork as part of a multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organises, co-ordinates and monitors the delivery of the Service’s care programme
  • Supervises the preparation, planning and delivery of group and one-to-one social, and recreational activities.
  • Conducts the welcoming of new service users ensuring they are comfortable and familiar with the environment and to impart essential information to their families and or carers.
  • Ensuring service user files and records are updated in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Observe and monitor the wellbeing of the service users ensuring any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to more senior staff and documented as appropriate.
  • Participate in the out of hours on call rota and respond as required
  • Supervises support workers in delivery and supports people who use our service in achieving their outcomes in the way that they choose.
  • Support staff in own team to maintain effective professional relationships with the people who use the service, their families, colleagues, outside agencies and other professionals referring any issues to senior staff as appropriate.
