Our Client was founded inthe 1980, as a manufacturer of small machined, pressed, formed and fabricated parts, they have developed a strong presence in distribution and have expanded to 5 different countries. Are currently looking to recruit the following; Quality Engineer / Inspector reporting to the quality manager Salary £30-35K The role To ensure that products entering the business are adequately inspected and handled in accordance with company operating standards, that they are true to drawing and adhere to all requirements.To ensure compliance to customer and third-party requirements and standards of all quality related activities.Maintain close monitoring of order book requirements in order to ensure the effective throughput of items submitted for inspectionVisually and where required dimensionally inspect incoming product to specified standards, ensuring goods are adequately packaged in order to prevent in house damageMaintain control of the quarantine store, ensuring that held items are regularly reviewed to identify ownership and required actionsCo-ordinate and resolve any customer / supplier / internal quality issuesEnsure that the Inspection Department is maintained in a clean and orderly manner, establishing standards in line with 5s principlesRequirements – experience:Working knowledge of aerospace requirements, including AS9120, in relation to quality management processes.Background of working in an environment where attention to detail is importantComputer literate (competent in Microsoft Office packages)Ability to read and understand technical /mechanical engineering data including drawings, standards, etc. and their applicationExperience of using basic measuring equipmentPlease call Kelvin Pinard onemail
