Job Description

I have a great opportunity for aHealth & Safety Managerto work for a specialist building contractor for their close-knit and friendly office.Contract: PermanentSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)Hours of work: Monday to Friday Location: Romford Duties

  • Risk assessment / Safe systems of work / COSHH Assessments
  • Be able to collate CDM file / Project safety file
  • Submit relevant RAMs package to clients/landlords
  • Be able to review and criticise RAMs from sub-contractors
  • Maintain Health & Safety management system including review of policies and procedures
  • Able to liaise with our clients and client landlords to obtain information require for projects.
  • Ensure statutory inspections are completed and maintain a PPM schedule of outstanding inspections
  • Managing Chadwell vehicle fleet including booking in MOT and renewing TAX certs along with routine servicing of the vehicle.
  • Manage Employee P files and ensure all personal files are up to date with recommend information
  • Complete Annual training and toolbox talks on relevant topics
  • Ensure audits are completed in line with the ISO9001 schedule and lead on annual audit from externals.
  • Act as fire Marshall for Chadwell office and ensure complain of the companys fire reduction duties.
  • Be able to keep up to date with current regulations and legislation. Interpret and implement changes where necessary for the company to meet the new legislations/regulation.
Ideal qualifications:
  • NEBOSH General / Level 3 equivalent
  • Interest if Fire safety
  • Knowledge of ISO systemsISO9001
Proficient in:
  • SharePoint / 365 Server
  • Microsoft packages including excel & formulas
