Job Description

eRostering Systems FacilitatorLocation: Romford Duration: On-going Band: 5 Job Summary:

  • To ensure all modules of the eRostering system are implemented and maintained across all staff groups within the Trust, enforcing best practice and ensuring systems are used to its full potential
  • To develop and co-ordinate the delivery of high-quality training on eRostering for the Trust, including the development, design & adaptation of training materials.
  • To facilitate specific work programmes as delegated by the Senior Workforce Systems & Informatics Analyst, ensuring that key milestones and outputs are achieved, and risks are identified and managed.
  • To become conversant with and provide leadership, guidance and training on the eRostering system, whilst developing an understanding of all modules and providing cross cover where necessary
  • Ensure all modules of the software are interfacing with each other and data transferring, to ensure that each module is providing the full potential of its usage and benefits. Diagnosing and rectifying where possible or reporting any system problems to the software supplier and systems team leader as necessary.
  • Using knowledge on terms and conditions to implement and maintain the eRostering system to meet the requirements of the Trust, managers, clinicians and users.
  • Responsible for the analysis of complex shifts patterns and rules in order to develop, test, deploy, maintain and support individual end user requirements delivered in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Senior Workforce Systems & Informatics Analyst as required.
  • The post holder will play a key role in the on-going maintenance of the system, providing first- and second-line support to users, ensuring data integrity and data quality assurance.
    • Skills:
  • Healthroster system administrator
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to use tact and persuasion, along with an ability to sell ideas and to motivate team members.
  • Candidates must be able to think strategically and keep track of progress towards achievement of milestones, whilst at the same time having a thorough understanding of events happening at the detailed level.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and a "can do" attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to timescales
  • Ability to absorb new information quickly
    • Experience:
  • Experience of providing training and production of User Guides
  • Previous experience within the healthcare setting.
  • Experience of delivering objectives
  • Change management
  • Acute NHS experience at Band 4 or above Working to tight deadlines and managing own workload
  • Knowledge of ESR
  • Good understanding of Healthroster v10, its direction, and its application to business.
  • Previous experience showing good analytical skills for spotting or anticipating weaknesses in processes (manual or system), along with the ability to organise and implement correction.
  • Good understanding of working regulations and guidelines e.g. WTD
