Job Description

Calling all English Teachers! Tradewind Recruitment is on the lookout for an exceptional English Teacher to teach KS3 & 4 classes at a mixed Comprehensive school in Medway! Taking pride in providing a nurturing atmosphere centred around their core values of honesty, empowerment, and inclusivity where both students and staff thrive, this OFSTED Good school are looking for their next star in the classroom!The role is full time and to begin immediately.Responsibilities - English Teacher:

  • Plan, mark, and deliver the English Curriculum to KS3 & 4 level
  • Ensure sustained academic growth & engagement in your pupils
  • Effective classroom & individual behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Liaise with colleagues and parents to ensure a high standard of support for all pupils
  • Establish a safe and welcoming space for pupils to learn and grow
Requirements:To be considered for this role, we will require the following:
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an alternative, equivalent qualification
  • Own or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the Update Service, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
