Tradewind are recruiting an enthusiastic Yr6 teacher for a large primary school in Rochdale.Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dynamic and hardworking Yr6 teacher for a 2-form entry school in Rochdale. The position is due to start after Christmas, but they would like to appoint asap to help facilitate some transition days. This is a full time, permanent contract and isnt necessarily a long-term supply contract. With SATS around the corner, pressure is on to ensure as many children as possible hit expected standards. However, this is a school that really focus on the individual needs of each child, brushing aside the generic teaching practice that can sometime be employed in Yr6. There are 27 children in the class and a wide variety of needs. They need a dynamic and inspiring teacher who has a creative outlook on the curriculum. Behaviour has been problematic at times but only because they havent necessarily been engaged with their work. You will be given plenty of support; in and out of the classroom and access to a brilliant CPD program.
