Job Description

Year 3 Teaching Assistant needed in RochdaleFull-time rolePay: £70-80 per dayStart ASAPOfsted rated Good school Convenient location in Rochdale on public transport routesEmpowering Learning Manchester are working with this primary school in Rochdale to find a teaching assistant for a Year 3 class.The successful teaching assistant will:

  • Support the class teacher with the everyday aspects of school life including preparing resources for the day, creating classroom displays
  • Take small groups for targeted learning and educational development
  • Listen to and monitor the progress of the childrens reading
  • Work with the class teacher to support the academic, social and emotional needs of SEN children in the class
  • Be passionate about instilling a love of learning in children
  • Have (or are willing to get) a DBS check
  • Be able to travel to Rochdale
