Job Description

Thriving Communities Social Prescribing Network Project Worker £23,715 per annumFull-time, fixed term (12 months)RochdaleRegenda is now recruiting a Thriving Communities Social Prescribing Network Project Worker to work our subsidiary, Petrus Community, in Rochdale. About the roleIn this role, you will support the development of a social prescribing network and delivery programme in Rochdale across a multi-partner consortium to address health inequalities and support those most impacted by Covid and the wider community. The post holder will work across the network with lead partners including Petrus, KYP, Link 4 Life, Action together, Rochdale Health Alliance Social Prescribing Team and Public Health Rochdale.We are searching for a positive, determined individual who possess a can do’ attitude along with an understanding of the underlying principles of social prescribing. You will also have demonstrable knowledge and experience of at least one or more of the following service areas and how these activities can support an individual’s health and well-being:

  • Arts and culture
  • Nature and environment
  • Sports and leisure
  • Finance and advice.
  • You will also have an extensive knowledge of the issues faced by people and communities who experience health inequalities. The ideal candidate will possess fantastic project management and teamwork skills in order to develop new and existing projects, liaising with a diverse range of clients and partners.The successful candidate will have experience of networking and promotional activity, engaging client groups with varied support needs, stakeholders and partners. You will also have the ability to record outcomes, write reports and evaluations and then present these effectively to stakeholders.An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.About usThe Regenda Group is a great quality, forward thinking housing business, building, managing and maintaining the homes people need.
