Job Description

Join our Team of Technical Recovery Negotiator - Rochdale - Office basedAuto Logistic Solutions Ltd is a well-established road traffic accident management company based in Rochdale. The company was founded in 2010 and has grown steadily year on year ever since.The businesses main focus is credit hire and repair. The company has an extensive fleet of vehicles to hire to victims of non fault road traffic accidents and then to recover the costs for this service from the at-fault insurance companies. ALS are ableto offer a full accident management package to each customer, and pride themselves in providing excellent customer service to their clients, from the moment they are involved in an accident to the return of their repaired vehicle and then recovery of all associatedlosses.We currently have an exciting new opportunity for the right candidate to work in a small, friendly, supportive team of technical claims handlers negotiating the recovery of client’s losses from insurers/solicitors to maximise the return for the company.The role is based in Rochdale in modern well equipped air conditioned offices.The successful candidate will have their own caseload to manage of up to 300 claims.Duties will include:

  • Negotiating settlement of credit hire, credit repair, storage & recovery and other uninsured losses directly with the at fault insurer/solicitor.
  • Investigating and resolving liability and quantum disputes.
  • Instructing/liaising with clients solicitors, referrers & insurers
  • Processing payments/incoming post/telephone calls
Requirements/skills:
  • Credit hire experience preferred but not essential
  • Confident negotiator
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving
  • Knowledge of the ABI GTA and motor accident claims preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required, experience of Pro Claim system preferred but not essential.
This role would suit a hard working individual with an investigative mind. An excellent telephone manner is a must and you will be someone who can thrive in a fast paced productive and supportive team environment.Salary is dependant on experience from £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, working hours 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday and is office based.Holiday entitlement is 20 days per annum plus bank holidays.Employee happiness is key to a successful business and as such ALS frequently arrange team building events such as nights out, charity events and motor racing.
