Working as a Team Leader for the short breaks service, supporting adults and young people with learning disabilities, complex needs who attend the service for short term / respite cover. Reporting into the Registered Manager and overseeing a staff team toprovide exceptional support to people within the community.We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting people with learning disabilities / mental health needs, who can work in a fast paced environment. This is a fast paced environment and no 2 days are the same - therefore, we are looking for a Team Leader who is proactive, can think ontheir feet and lead a team to deliver an excellent service in response to a persons support plan and individual budget.You will support your staff team and will be required to participate in training and development as required as well as attending and engaging in supervisions, appraisals and managers meetings.Hours of work for Team Leader:37 hours a week - Monday to Friday with flexibility to meet the needs of the business, covering on call on a rota basis, which you will be paid extra for.Rewards for Team Leader:
