Job Description

Management AccountantRochdaleSalary up to £45,000Our client is a dynamic financial services provider based in Rochdale. Collaborating closely with the Finance Director we are looking to appoint a strong Management Accountant with managerial experience who will play a pivotal role in maintaining accuratefinancial records for a diverse portfolio of clients and oversee a talented finance team. Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents for our clients.
Contribution to monthly board pack creation.
Supervision of internal accounting procedures.
Management of financial operations, including bookkeeping.
Handling banking activities such as managing bank statements and processing payments.
Assisting in cost analysis.
Collaboration with external auditors and funders.
Oversight of day-to-day finance department functions.
Maintenance of up-to-date customer accounts and collaboration with stakeholders, including other finance departments, to ensure accurate records.
Actively assist colleagues with daily inquiries and provide coaching as needed

Personal Profile:

Actively studying ACCA / CIMA OR ACA – Part Qualified or Qualified
Previously managerial experience – essential
Experience within Financial Services
Detail focused
Strong Communicator
Strong Analytical skills
Exposure to SAGE / Oracle
Work well independently as well as part of a team
Ability to reach SLA’s & Prioritise workload
