Management Accountant | £45,000 - £55,000 | Rochdale (3 days in office) | PE backedAxon Moore are working with a highly successful business in Rochdale who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity working for a well known brand, with a perfect blend of management accounts & businesspartnering involved.We need someone with a good management accounts grounding who wants to have an impact on the wider teams as youll be expected to build relationships with Heads of department across the business.You will be responsible for:

Production of management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow
Produce weekly profit & loss reporting, including key variance analysis and investigation
Business partnering with heads of department focused on cost reviews and forecasting, including variance analysis to identify areas to be targeted for cost reductions
Period end balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
Accruals, prepayments and journals
Management of key cost lines including distribution, together with period end accruals and prepayments
Preparation and updating of weekly 26 week cashflow forecast including daily bank position monitoring and reporting, with weekly updates to actuals for sales by customer, cash receipts and supplier payments
Daily cashbook reconciliation and daily bank analysis
Involvement in projects to improve systems and processes to reduce time taken for reporting and development of reporting

Person specification:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA finalist or qualified
Motivated self-starter with desire to learn and progress
Positive and engaging personality with ability to get on with people across the business in all functions
