IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) - Rochdale- Oldham Role: IT Support Engineer- 2nd LineLocation: Rochdale, OldhamSalary: £30KA successful, well-established, forward-thinking IT Consultancy are recruiting for an ambitious IT Support Engineer to join their highly skilled tech team on a permanent basis. My client were established over 25 years; they are a market leading organisationwith over 1200 customers.This role requires a passionate, independent, confident individual with a genuine interest in technology and continuous self-improvement to join their team. The development and career progression opportunities are endless.On a day-to-day basis you will be required to support their customers and clients via their service desk, carrying out second line support-delving deep into interesting support issues alongside ensuring a seamless customer experience.Experience beneficial to your second Line support engineer application:

  • Virtualisation- VMware/HyperV/Citrix
  • Microsoft Stack- Office365/SharePoint/Exchange
  • Windows Servers
  • Active Directory/Azure/MFA
  • Networking- LAN/WAN/DHCP/DNS
  • Back up technologies (VEEAM highly desirable!)
  • Firewalls- (Fortigate highly desirable) or Draytek/Meraki/Watchguard/cisco
  • Patch management Intune/Manage Engine or N-able
Desirable skills that would make your application STAND OUT:
  • Any previous IT consultancy or Managed Service Provider experience.
  • Any IT related qualifications
