At Weir Minerals, we are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Representative to join our team based in Rochdale. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of up to £25,000 per annum.Weir Minerals Europe is part of the Weir Group plc, the business has been established for over 100 years and is a world leader in the design and manufacture of pumps, valves, cyclones, vibrating screen machines, crushers and other associated equipment for the mining and minerals processing industries. The company has seen significant sustained revenue growth with output rising from £31million to circa £130million within the last 6 years. Based in the North West of England we are a well established company that is growing year on year. Our organisation currently has 650 employees throughout Europe with over 400 based at our head office in Todmorden.About the role:Our Sales team is seeking to recruit three Permanent Internal Sales Representatives to join our dynamic team to help grow and develop the UK Sales. Based in our new facility at Kingsway Park, Rochdale, we are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who can help support our valued UK customers and external team using a proactive approach to increasing product sales.Key responsibilities of our Internal Sales Representative:- Making outbound and receiving inbound calls- Improve customer communications / relationships- Actively promoting the Weir brand at all given opportunities- Producing quotations and follow up- Actively seek Sales opportunities- Coordinate a sales Pipeline- Raise sales orders- Manage an order book- Raising of customer complaints and seeing through to conclusion- Resolve any issues that our customers are facing- Update our operating systems accordingly- Communicate well with our internal & external team employeesWhat we’re looking for in our Internal Sales Representative:- Experience within a customer focused sales role is essential- Previous experience of working in after-sales- Experience of working well within a team- Computer literate- Experience in SAP is desired but not essential- Experience with CRM systems is desired but not essential- Ability to read engineering drawings is desired but not essential- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written- Detailed orientated- Takes responsibility to see through the taskBenefits of becoming our Internal Sales Representative:- 25 days holiday plus 8 days Bank Holiday- Employee Benefits Scheme- Flexible working hours- Free Parking- Pension Scheme- Cycle to work SchemeIf you would like to be part of our growing team as our Internal Sales Representative then click apply below - we’d like to hear from you!
