Job Description

An exciting role for a dedicated Buyer who has a passion for the FMCG industry. The position requires strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and management of procurement processes in our Manchester location.Client DetailsOur client is a leading player in the FMCG sector.   • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to ensure the optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Conduct supplier negotiations and manage the supplier performance evaluation process.
  • Manage the procurement process for indirect, including transport and CAPEX.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to forecast demand accurately.
  • Monitor market trends in the FMCG industry and make appropriate sourcing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with companys purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Manage supplier relationships and handle any supply chain issues that arise.
  • Contribute to the companys sustainability goals through strategic procurement practices.
