The CompanyAxon Moore are recruiting a Commercial Finance Business Analyst for a very well established and exciting group of companies based in Rochdale. They are now seeking an ambitious Analyst with a strong background who is keen to learn in the role and add value to the wider business.About the RoleThis role adds an invaluable commercial focus to the Group by drawing out key commercial trends and issues; analysing volumes, regional deviations, customer and product profitability, cost inconsistencies and stock forecasting. Providing advice and guidanceto the senior management team on key issues that need addressing, but fundamentally providing key information to help the Senior Management Team make effective decisions.The group have a CRM database and QlikView reporting tool, the use of which needs to be maximised. The Group is a high-volume business, which means significant volumes of data to analyse, this role would be expected to not just churn out excel data, but toproduce management information in a professional and concise manner. Therefore, excellent Excel skills, extensive use of a CRM database and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business are a pre-requisite of this role.The role is predominantly working out of the Wholesale business based in Rochdale but will need to work closely with all the functions across the Group to gain a good understanding of all requirements. The role will be reporting into the Group Finance Director,but will operate in a flexible capacity supporting the MDs as required. The candidate does not need to be from a Finance background, although some of the skills sets in Finance may be relevant to this role. This person would preferably be educated to degree level and will be keen in pursuing a career in the commercial and financeaspects of a Business Analyst role.Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 + study supportJob Duties

• Daily interrogation of CRM and QVdeveloping reports in conjunction with the relevant departments to support their activity.
• Working closely with key personnel in each business to support the development of a KPI pack for the relevant management teams
• KPI reporting.

• Producing product profitability reports highlighting areas of concern or opportunities
• Producing and presenting, (where necessary), monthly Sales Reports Monthly.
• Lead meetings to tailor reports to business needs, rationalise and develop new reports where necessary.
• Stock Forecasting and analysis of problem areas, slow moving, costing inconsistencies etc.
• Ad Hoc Reports to support all areas of the Company whenever necessary

Person Specification

• Strong experience in using CRM, Qlikview, Power BI or other business systems to produce reports
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel user
• Organised and structured in your approach to work
• Excellent Accuracy levels and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
• Flexible, ability to work to deadlines, particularly month end cut off
• Using own initiative, working independently and as part of a small team
• Excellent IT Skills with knowledge of MS Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
• Ability to create Reports with data extract from business systems
