1st Line Support, 2nd Line Support, ICT, Troubleshooting, Hardware, Network, DHCP, Office 365, Windows 10, Android3 months initial contractWe are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused individual with some IT exposure, to assist our team. We provide desktop services to over 3000 customers, located at more than 80 sites in the Rochdale Borough (including Middleton, Heywood & Littleborough).A full, valid driving license is a must.Were happy to speak to anyone who has experience in a customer service environment e.g. call centre or retail, who has exposure to IT in their day-to-day job, with a view to gaining further IT experience. The individual will be trained in each task requiredof them; however, they should be quick on the uptake. They will be expected to be shown something and be able to successfully repeat on their own.Experience of any of the following is an advantage: Knowledge of hardware; laptops, desktops & printers. Basic network skills i.e. Wi-Fi, patching, DHCP reservations. Standard systems and business applications e.g. Microsoft Office suites, Microsoft Edge, Skype for business, Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Windows 10. Mobile devices (phones & tablets) running Android.The individual will assist the customer with queries and problems relating to the use of ICT. We provide support remotely by telephone, in writing and by site visits. The candidate will also build and deploy the full ICT Catalogue and maintain asset managementrecords to the agreed standards. Candidates need to be able to manage their own time and update tickets with status and resolution information. Good organisational skills are important.Administrative tasks such as asset management, service request and incident management, booking appointments and stock management are a significant part of the role. It is imperative asset management is completed accurately.The successful candidate must have very good interpersonal skills; politeness and efficiency are key.
