A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cost Draftsman to join my client in their offices in Rochdale. The right candidates will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of work types.Ideal candidates will:Have a proven track record in drafting costs budgets and/or bills of costs.A strong academic background i.e with a Law degreeLegal experience as a Costs Draftsmen & or a Costs LawyerDemonstrate excellent negotiation skills.Have an up-to-date knowledge of CPR procedures and current costs case law.Be commercially aware.Be able to work with minimal supervision when required.Committed team player, self -motivated and professionalBe IT literate, preferably (but not essentially) including knowledge of using Proclaim.Have experience of handling your own costs caseload from start to finish.Demonstrate high client care/service skills.Benefits and SalaryCompetitive salary dependent on experience.Excellent Training & Support.Career progressionThe successful candidate will work between the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm (Mon-Fri).If you have the relevant experience and abilities, this will be an excellent opportunity for you to progress your career by joining a forward thinking and expanding Law Firm.
