Rochdale Council are recruiting for a Building Surveyor on a full time basis.Pay Rate: £19.81 PAYE / £24.73 UmbrellaContract: Initially until 31/12/24, potential to be taken on permanentlyHours: 37 per weekThe RoleRBC Corporate Buildings and Schools within the Rochdale Borough Area.To produce professional survey and project management reportsDrafting Specifications and Estimating- Preparation of schedules of work following site inspections.- Preparation of full Tender documents including specifications.- Estimation of costs of work.- Taking off from drawings- Production of building drawings, construction design plans, elevation and cross sections using AutoCAD. Supervision/Checking- Supervision of contractors on site related to their projects.- Contract administration including issuing of site instructions to contractors for works interim and final payments.- Reporting to senior staff on performance of contractors.
