Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Area Operations Support to help build, develop, lead and retain a team of Officers and Supervisors on one of our biggest contracts in Securitas.The Area Operations Support will accurately roster all officers, ensuring sufficient cover for all absences whilst maintaing we meet our service levels agreements. Provide administration support for all areas in this contract, supporting operational teamsin ensuring compliance with all company, contract and statutory policies and processes.How you will make a difference as an Area Operational Support:

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Branch Managers by maintenance of records contracts, IT systems and general office duties
  • Be the first point of contact for security personnel queries.
  • Update assignment instructions, site documentation and maintain customer information as required.
  • Assist with recruitment, ensuring staffing levels meet the agreed service levels and all recruitment is completed in a timely manner in accordance with company policy and procedure.
  • Ensure training courses are arranged and all personnel have undertaken the appropriate training, for example, SIA licences.
  • Support management with taking minutes in required meetings, correctly storing all documents, and assisting branchs direct and indirect costs.
  • Staff rostering, minimising pay queries, ensuring no dropped shifts and that accurate invoices may be produced and despatched within required timescales.
  • Processing uniform requests, tracking dispatch and delivery and achieving closure for audit purposes.
  • Building management responsibilities as and when required.
  • Any other duties as directed by the management team.
Essential Skills
  • Right to work in the UK, 5-year checkable history and pass necessary security vetting, such as Enhanced DBS etc.
  • SIA licence.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Previous experience in Security or similar role.
  • Ability to work under own initiative, prioritise workload and build positive relationships.
  • Strong customer service and organisation skills.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbally.
  • Good standard of IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to work with confidential information.
