Job Description

We are looking for Mould Tooling Process Engineer to work for a medical device manufacturer based in Plymouth. You will be working as part of the moulding engineering team, leading development of the manufacturing process.Responsibilities as a Mould Tooling Process Engineer include:

  • Develop new moulding processing techniques to aid the manufacturing process
  • Specify and implement improvements to the process
  • Make improvements to the quality, cost effectiveness and viability of production in the moulding process
  • Ensure all processes comply with all quality and safety legislation
  • Mentor members of the production team in the correct analysis and methods to use
    • Experience for a Mould Tooling Process Engineer required includes:
  • Qualification in Injection Moulding or Polymer Science or related experience
  • Process engineering experience working with high-cavitation moulding
  • Ability to be hands-on in process optimisation with a proven track-record of results
