Do you have experience working with children with a range of special educational needsReed Education Cardiff are currently working exclusively with a mainstream Primary school based on the outskirts of Cardiff. This Primary school is looking to add a 1:1 LSA with SEN experience to their existing team to support a young pupil within their Key Stage 1 Department.Are you ready to make a real difference in helping pupils to achieve their full potentialAbout the role…A single form entry mainstream Primary school based on the outskirts of Cardiff with over 200 pupils on role. They are looking to recruit a 1:1 LSA on a fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave. This opportunity has either an immediate start or Easter start depending on individual requirements. The successful candidate will be supporting a young pupil in Key Stage 1 on a 1:1 basis with various SEN/ALN requirements.About the school…They believe that their pupils should be ambitious, confident learners by offering them a stimulating learning environment where pupils, staff and the wider community feel valued to reach their full potential. Following Estyn inspection, the school achieved Good ratings across the board. Due to the schools location they encourage outdoor learning and are currently in process of finalising a million pound expansion and upgrade.About you…To be successful in this role you must have a minimum 6 months experience working with children with SEN statements within an educational setting. Experience with PECS and Makaton are an advantage but not essential. You will be willing to go the extra mile to ensure these pupils are able to reach their potential.What we offer…
