Are you an ambitious Supply Chain Professional looking for a new opportunity We are excited to be working with a leading engineering business based in Ripley who supply into the UK Defence industry. They are now looking for a Supply Chain Coordinatorto join the team and support in meeting their customers demands. Supply Chain Co-ordinatorFull-time, PermanentSalary: up to £33,000 DOEMonday- Friday: 7.30am - 4.30pm Ripley, Derbyshire(Onsite) Supply Chain Coordinator Job Description· Placing purchase orders in accordance with MRP requirements or other business needs to ensure on-time delivery of components.· Reconcile purchase order acknowledgements with details on all orders placed· Rescheduling delivery dates with suppliers and actioning changes· Expediting material deliveries· Ensure lead-time data within the MRP system is up to date and valuable for the team.· Inputting of Sales Orders on to the system as per customer demand.· Run process to receive goods and launch material into manufacture.· Managing of Supplier Approvals and keeping up to date on our system.· Reporting material availability and departmental performance to senior management· Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure all business requirements are passed on to suppliers.· Continually develop processes and systems to help overall improvement of department performance.Supply Chain Coordinator Essentials Skills & Experience ·2-3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain or Material Control related role· Experience working with MRP/ERP or Stock Control systems.·Previous experience working within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment · Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office.If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply’
