Job Description

Associate Manager, FP&A (Sales & Marketing)Ripley, DerbyshireNeg £££ (DOE)Full time, PermanentHamilton Woods Associates have teamed up a family run manufacturing business based in Denby, Derbyshire to recruit an Associate Manager, FP&A to generate insights to drive the right commercial decisions for the UK/Ireland Business.The Associate Manager, FP&A will partner with the UK Marketing & Sales Directors to identify opportunities to drive profitable business growth via pricing and mix analytics and reporting.Key duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial Budget & Forecasting processes, including Sales & profitability forecasts at a product and customer level.
  • Establish and improve reporting and KPI systems which allow the commercial team to gain timely insights into the performance of the business. Collaborate with the team to develop course-correction plans, as required.
  • Drive the month-end reporting process. Analyse the results, summarise the key insights and escalate required actions / trade-offs to the European senior management team.
  • Finance owner of the UK & Ireland Commercial P&L from Gross Sales to variable / Delivered Profit.
    • Experience/Knowledge:
  • Strong track record in playing a lead role in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Strong commercial savvy with the ability to hold business partner accountable, and to use analytics to drive business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver process improvement and change management.
  • Prior experience in running NPV.ROI analysis.
