PagePersonnel are delighted to be partnered with our client to recruit an Assistant Accountant. The role will be responsible for all central bank postings and providing financial support in in the following key areas.Client DetailsOur client is a market leading global business who have headquarters in Airdrie.DescriptionThe successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

Daily bank posting & Allocations
Daily Bank reconciliation for various accounts & companies
Generate Sales Invoices for Sales Team to Raise
Cash Allocations for Retail Brands
Management of suspense account - Reconciling at period end
Purchase invoices for Retail Brands
Supplier Reconciliations
Petty Cash postings for all sites - Airdrie, Boston, Jersey and Retail

ProfileThe successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

Degree in accountancy or a similar relevant qualification.
Holder of / or studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
Strong level of IT literacy, particularly Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Engaged team player, both within and out with a finance context.

Job OfferThis role will offer a competitive salary between £21,000 and £23,000 plus great benefits.
