Position: Python/Dev Ops Engineer Start date: ASAP Job type: Permanent Location: London/Hybrid Salary: £60-90K D.O.E Job Description DevOps EngineerOur client is a security consultancy with a proven track record of delivering security services to a number of FTSE 100 companies. Theyhave established relationships with market leading technology vendors in Cyber Security and Big Data analytics space.Due to the reliance on technology, Cyber security operations are now top priority for most companies, and they are now turning to our client for their expertise. Our client has ambitious plans for expansion from now to the next 5 years, there is so much potentialfor someone to grow and get promoted with in a short period of time. A position with our client will give the right candidate the opportunity to work with blue chip clients across EMEA as their pipeline for work is growing rapidlyYou will be a key technical resource for clients, responsible fordeveloping and integratingsecureenterpriseapplicationsusing the latest security technologies to industry and better standards.Responsibilities

• You will be designing and implementing low- latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• You will be developing and integrating user-facing elements
• Wring reusable, testable and efficient code.
• You will be implementing the best practices and for security and data protection.
• Integrating layer solution data
• Providing technical support, engineering, and deployment of portfolio of technologies
• Be an active participant in process management meetings.
• To be able to communicate effectively with clients, to be able to gather requirements and deliver top quality service.

Education

• BSc(MSc preferred)in computer science, cyber-security or a related field including engineering, mathematics, and other STEM subjects
• Industry certifications area bonus.

Requirements:

• Need to have over 1 year experience developing full stack code using python
• You must have the ability to integrate multiple data source and data bases on the one functioning system.
• Experience in multi-threading in python and developing APIs
• Good understanding of service-side coding practices
• Experience using Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Experience dealing with Front-End technologies such as JAVA, .NET, HTML5
• Knowledge or experience in event driven programming in python.
• Understanding the difference between mobile vs desktop and other platforms.
• Usage of CICD
• Experience working in modern application using DEVOPS & Agile.

Skills

• You must have strong communication skills, as you will have to translate technical terms into familiar business language
• Need to have the ability to quickly explore, examine and understand complex problems and how these relate or effect to the customers business.
• Ability to stopto listen andcollaborate with technical and non-technical consumers from IT administrators to executive level stakeholders
• Need to be self-motivated and eager to grow your skills.
• Well organized with a healthy sense of urgency, able to set; communicate; and meet aggressive deadlines with competing priorities
• Understands security.
