Focused Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturing plant in the local area who are looking to recruit an experienced Production Administrator on a full time temp to perm basisThis role will be working closely with the shop floor, to enable the smooth flow of production and will be working across a two shift pattern 6:00am-14:00pm Monday-Friday and afternoons 13:45-22:00 Monday-Thursday and 13:45-18:00 on Fridays.You will be communicating across to the whole business, from shop floor level employees up to higher management, and communicating to external customers and dealing with general enquiries promptly and efficiently.The Role:- To understand the basics of the production process- To report daily stocks to all third party customers, ensuring discrepancies and queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently.- Collating factory work sheets- Ensure phones are answered and messages taken, and passed on to the relevant personnel- Conduct timely daily production costs, and forward this information out to all relevant parties- Assist with production worksheets and data as necessary- Assist the shift managers and team leaders with a monthly internal traceability exercises- Be available to provide admin support for the technical departments and HR departments.- Supporting the production department with general admin duties as required- Liaising with staff and helping to organise holidays on a rotaThe Person:- Team skills - It will be necessary to work with and communicate with other members of staff, respect their abilities, helping and assisting where appropriate, to ensure the smooth running of the company- Excellent communicator (Written and Verbal) at all times- Ability to help in other areas when needed- Ability to work on own initiative- Experience of working within a Production Admin/ Stock Admin role previously- Experience of SAP would be beneficial but not essentialBy applying for this position you are giving authorisation for Focused Recruitment Ltd to contact you regarding this vacancy and other vacancies we feel may be suitable for you.We will not present your CV to any clients without your explicit consent.
