Urgently Required - Temporary Credit Controller - Immediate StartAn opportunity has arisen in the Tredegar area to work for a leading brand. The role is being offered initially on a temporary basis for approximately 6 weeks, but could potentially be extended for the successful candidate.The role requires an experienced credit controller to come in and deal with the credit control function. Working as part of a buys and friendly credit control team, you will be responsible for chasing out-standing debts, invoicing, posting cash and dealingwith customer account queries.Reporting into the Credit Control Manager you will be required to work on a busy but well-maintained ledger. The company is seeking a conscientious and determined character who is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and doing whatever it takes to collectout-standing payments.Key duties will include:1) The smooth and timely collection of out-standing debts2) Accurate receipt of all customer payments3) Reduce overdue accounts and the number of bad debts4) Reconciliation of customer accounts5) Issue statements and copy invoices6) Foreign currenciesKey Skills:1) Tried and tested experience within a similar role2) Proven track record of reducing the debtor days3) The ability to work on your own initiative and solve any issues that may arise in a professional manner4) Prioritise a busy workload5) A good team player6) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and have previously used accounting softwareMy client has a fantastic reputation within their field. The role will be office based, Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week and they can be flexible with start/finish times.
