Job Description

You will be responsible for the operational management of our reception team. This includes staff development, HR, recruitment, absence management, team motivation, ensuring a high quality reception service provision as well as running a robust rota system. This is a busy, varied and challenging role responsible for implementing and maintaining reception and administrative procedures. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an understanding of a working reception/telephony provision. Prioritising workflows and directing staff, as well as working flexibly where demands and priorities change quickly will be key. The role requires confident considered decision-making and personal resilience. Quality and customer service are a focus in the role. Excellent computer skills needed. Knowledge/experience of working in the NHS is an advantage. The post holder must have the ability to work calmly under pressure and have an open and collaborative approach to their work.
