Thermofisher are currently recruiting for a Senior Associate Treasury Analyst on a 12 month FTC.Position Summary: Placed within the corporate treasury team, The Senior Associate Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing the day-to-day corporate cash management operations, documentation, liaising with banks, intercompany partners, cash and banking & Treasury team for smooth running of the business. A member of a dynamic team, this role involves a great deal of attention to detail and accuracy and interaction with internal and external entities. Reconciliations form a large part of the work for this role. Department InformationThe Corporate Tax Department serves to contribute to the overall success of Thermo Fisher Scientific by partnering with the business units to provide effective world-wide tax planning, managing tax risks and opportunities, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and financial reporting requirements. The Corporate Treasury Departments goal is to optimally manage corporate funds, capital structure and various forms of financial risk in order to fund impactful growth initiatives that ultimately create shareholder value.Location: Inchinnan, PaisleyWhat will you do Reviewing of daily cash positioning and fund various cash pool accordingly.Review bank statements to ensure the accuracy for EMEA by entityResolve day-to-day cash and banking related queries in a timely mannerReview monthly bank account analysis statementsFirst point of contact for queries, take ownership and resolve any ad-hoc issuesImplement and maintain controls to ensure accuracyPerform month end reconciliation of Entity In House Bank balances from WSS(TMS) to HFM Coordinate training of Intercompany participant membersTake ownership of bank documentation (includes opening and closing of bank accounts and cash pools)Train and on-board new legal entities for NettingDevelop and maintain relationships with entitiesMaintain process documentation to satisfy Internal Audit/External Audit/SOX requirements Become a super-user on treasury workstation and trouble shooting on system issues.Support treasury operationsWhat we are looking forAssociates degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or license/certification; Bachelors degree or equivalent preferredKnowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite) and banking software and platforms.
